Emma Johnson

Graphic Designer

A Bit About Me

I’m an ethical, thoughtful, and open designer who loves creating meaningful visual experiences. With experience across publication design, UX/UI, and packaging, I approach every project with intention—seeking not just to make something beautiful, but to communicate clearly and connect emotionally. My passion for the arts has been with me for as long as I can remember, and it continues to shape the way I see, think, and solve problems.

Beyond design, I’m inspired by my family, faith, and the things I love—whether that’s hiking, reading, playing video games, listening to music, or spending time with the people who matter most. These moments, big and small, feed my creativity and shape the empathetic, human-centered perspective I bring to every project.

Aug–Nov 2024

As a freelance designer, I work on side projects for the Saint Thomas More Newman Center on my college campus and other small businesses/organizations. This work has consisted of creating brand identities and advertising materials.

I work as a design intern at my college's Marketing & Creative Services department. This job has allowed me to work on both the design and production sides of projects.

During these few months, I collaborated with business students at my university. Together, we consulted with, produced deliverables for, and presented to South Dakota Trade.
